International Summer School on the Digital Library 2001

The sixth International Summer School on the Digital Library was held at Tilburg University, The Netherlands from 30 July - 10 August 2001 and at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy from 7 - 12 October 2001. The summer school consisted of three, separate courses:
Managing the Change Process towards your Library of the Future (course 1)
Digital Libraries and the Changing World of Education (course 2)
Electronic Publishing: Libraries as Buyers, Facilitators, or Producers (course 3)

It was possible to attend one or more courses. Each course had its specific target group. In particular, they were aimed at library managers/directors, instruction librarians, designers of learning environments, teaching staff, IT librarians, licensing officers, and digital library project managers from academic and research libraries.
